Received text message claiming to be from Royal Mail as I refused to pay £2.99 with link to reschedule delivery. Did click on the link which was very stupid , ( I was expecting the parcel ) but nothing happened and no other details from me were asked . It was just a blank page. 3 phone calls in 3 days from this no. Having searched this site and others to read reports of Windows scams etc. I decided to answer this one. An Asian man asked if I was Miss Christine. I said "Who? Who s calling?" He hung up, I didn t for another 3 minutes, so presumably prevented him from bothering someone else. Reporting to ICO.

They called me several times. When I answered they tried to sell advertising in the local post office.

Called saying going to turn bt land line and internet off due to suspect activity on the line. And told me to press 1 to speak to a manager, seeing as we have virgin phone line ...
