i get one or two calls from this number to my mobile (a talk talk contract). When you call back it goes nowhere - now worried that this may be a result of talk talk being hacked recently

SCAM Scammers claiming to be from National Crime Agency, saying your NIN has been compromised, and your name has been used for drug trafficking and money laundering. Eventually, they ask you to transfer your money to a "safe account".

It s Vanquis Credit Card. I live in St Helens so they think that because they use a St Helens Prefix I will pick it up. They ve been hounding me for weeks for ?70. They ve probably wasted more than that in man hours over that period trying to call me.

These guys have been onto me too, claiming i owe them, CSG for some child safety booklets - i sent a reply to their email with links to this and many other pages which they conveniently have not received . Claim they will get a manager to call me back to discuss in 3-4 days - funny that, if i was owed money, i certainly wouldnt wait 3-4 days to resolve the matter

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. This company is a huge nuisance and should be fined. They do not screen against the TPS and do not remove people from the marketing list when asked. ALWAYS report this number to the Information Commisioner s Office. It is very say to do that on the ICO website. Because if enough people do that, they company will get a massive fine and hopefully be put out of business.
