Didn't recognise the number so hung up and tried to search for it on the internet. The number did not appear.

Claimed to work for payment protection for all of the big banks and also knew my current address. Heard him bring up PPI after 5 minutes of miscommunications an told him to go to hell.

Apparently the TPS web server is down, so they had to contact me by phone and not email. This is the 2nd similar call today. My TPS registration will expire tomorrow. Do not believe them, as TPS *never* phone customers!!

Very persistent gent - Jerry Edwards - who, when I insisted, gave me Microsoft Manchester s address and phone number. His number withheld.
