Very convincing - I kept asking if this was a sales call and would I suddenly be asked to pay some charges upfront - asked a lot of questions - I remained vague (I hope). Seems dodgy because they pretend to be your supplier in order to get your meter readings but they do in fact work for just most if not all of the major energy suppliers and are totally legit
