This is my number but unfortunately someone is using some sort of software to use it to scam people, a police investigation is underway, do not answer!!!
Someone claiming to be from "Tenancy Deposit Helpline" asking if we have a private tenancy deposit. Asked where they got our details from, they said from the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, I said surely they'd know if we had a private deposit if that was where they got out details. He hung up.

I'm not sure if this number is a scam or not because my card had stopped working the day before, but would always recommend if you need to contact the bank then google what their phone number is and ring that one, NOT the number a message asks you to call (for coop bank it should be 0345 721 2212)

SCAM. Woman with strong Asian (sounded Indian) accent purporting to be calling from Microsoft informing me of urgent high risk to my computer etc---. I hung up and on checking discovered the number to belong to A&M Todd, a flooring company in Burnley.
Can I block the no 0161 738 1458 only they keep on ringing me as an unknown no and I am gating fed up with them . Thanks

I was charged ?18 in June and a further ?30 in July for a series of texts (?6 per texts) on my mobile bill. at this point a misdial from a local number, in which case no harm done I don't use my landline except for internet connections and never answer it if it rings. If this number rings again I will block the number. If it was someone I knew they would have my mobile number and know to use it.
This number is an automated system stating illegal activity has been linked to your national insurance number and to press 1 otherwise you will be arrested. Clearly spam as they have a mobile number.
