Automated call - long pause, then an automated message saying my internet company had been trying to contact me and that they were going to cut the service off. Wrong on all accounts, and very annoying especially as it is a UK number. I thought this was illegal now?
SCAM!!! John from the "Medical Alert Centre" called telling me I have been flagged up as qualifying for a free medical alert pendant. Call looks like a normal YK mobile number but in search it indicates that the number originates in Ahmedabad in India. As I don t know anyone from or in India I can only assume that it is a call from some call centre or a scam or perhaps both. Treat with suspicion.

Completely fed up with these calls, why they keep calling because I never answer, if they are calling regarding PPI, am not likely to be in for a refund, as I have never borrowed money in my life can t afford it do without.
SCAM. Fraud. Automated voice in perfect English claiming to be from HMRC. Wants you to pay unpaid fines and fees NOW. The voice is strong, demanding and incessant. Classic fraud. Hang up. Block the number. Report to the Police, if possible.
