Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. He asked for someone I don’t know. I told him I didn’t know the person and he got rude and aggressive with me before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number.

THIS NUMBER IS NOT HALIFAX OR THE LLOYDS BANKING GROUP. I PHONED THEM TO CONFIRM. I DON T KNOW WHO IT IS OR WHAT THEY WANT. I WOULDN T PHONE THEM BACK JUST IN CASE. Almost certainly a scammer. Use the call-blocking system on your mobile or your landline if your provider offers this.

Called a few times most recently few days ago. Cant be bothered to answer anymore as no one ever speaks.

Compensation calls, rings roughly 4-6 times per day

Phone automatically blocked the number but on phoning it back got a very apologetic message basically saying the number had been hijacked by foreign scammers and that the matter was in the hands of ofcom, just block the number and give absolutely no information whatever to them as it could be used for identity fraud.

I got a call at work and a female welsh voice said `I understand you are under 60 years old and therefore you qualify for a pensions bonus payment of £1,000 which you will receive within the next 60 days. Please press 5 to speak to us". Presumably yet another scam to try and get bank details or name and address

Yes this is HSBC. I have an account with them and this was my LOCAL branch calling to make sure I was aware of changes and to ensure I was using the acc correctly. Very pleasant lady and took 5mins of my time. No problem to report.

Unknown caller who would not identify themselves or answer my questions as to how he had obtained my number. Insisted on calling me Sophia and said I was in Stockport. Both totally wrong. Wanted to offer me "benefits and bonuses" but could not get him to explain what these might be. Kept asking me questions about my situation which I refused to answer. He hung up.

They called and said it was a confidential matter and wanted my details so I asked for the companies name but refused to give it as this would prejudice the situation so I advise that their is no provision within the DPA 1988 which states that they are not allowed to disclosed their details prior to me disclosing mine.

Keep getting calls from this number but phone on silent and keep missing them.

This company phoned after my accident with all my details claiming to be an assessor. They didn't answer inbound calls!!!!

Offered to "optoimise" our Facebook Page, referred us to examples of where they have optimised other companies. We never got anything for our money. Beware Northwest Graphic s, they prey on NZ ans Aussie companies..
