I have been receiving calls claiming they are calling from open reach informing there is an issue with my broadband. They wanted me to do some thing the broadband devic. This guys are fraud and trying to gain access to your broadband and connect to your device at home and get all the information. Do not answer or report them.
I was called from 02038309054 by an automated message apparently from HMRC stating that it was about outstanding tax. I hung up immediately!
Automated call, supposed to be from BT re my phone and internet connection is to be diconnected, press 1 to speak to an advisor, Scam as I do not have BT, Beware!

Edinburgh number called twice this morning. The receiver was replaced when I answered.
SCAM - On answer a strident recorded message tells you that "A criminal tax fraud case has been lodged against you". I didn't bother listening to the full message - I heard enough to know it was a pathetic criminal trying to scare people into handing them either personal data or money. This is a scam saying they are from Royal Mail asking for unpaid shipping fee to get your parcel - they are trying to take your money do not fall for it
Called saying from o2 never asked for any of my personal details but sent me a one time pass code kept me on the line for quite some time offering me discount on my bill plus free upgrade. When call ended contacted o2 and was informed that the one time pass code is what they use to lock me out of the account and gives them the access to use my account
