I have just received a call from a female withe an Indian accent. She claimed to be representing someone who was involved in an accident with me. I said I remembered no accident (I haven t had one!). She said, are you sure? I asked what is my registration? She said she was not allowed to say. I asked her what was my name? She said "sorry to trouble you" and put the phone down as I accused her of being a scam.

Does anyone know who the caller is,? my gut instinct says its a scammer from overseas as for it to be from a uk land-line there would need to be another digit in the second part...

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. Scam from a company that will ask to get money from you through a voucher (3V prepaid voucher) because they say:"You have been accepted for a personal loan".
