If this was a Glasgow number it was probably a scam, we don,t know anyone in Glasgow, it was a early morning call they got us out of bed,
This company is a huge nuisance and should be fined. They do not screen against the TPS and do not remove people from the marketing list when asked. ALWAYS report this number to the Information Commisioner s Office. It is very say to do that on the ICO website. Because if enough people do that, they company will get a massive fine and hopefully be put out of business.

PPI. They said it was called HELP YOUR CLAIM. I asked to speak to the manager and told them that my phone was registered to not receive cold calls, and asked them where they got my number from. They asked for my email address so they could let me know where they obtained my number from. I refused to give it, as next thing they will be sending me emails too. Insurance - scam - sending me maintenance policy renewal papers for my (16 year old) washing machine and (a twenty year old refrigerator). Aimee was very nice but on a loser with this nonsense. She did not know what brand or how old they were but was quite adamant they had been insuring them since installation but could not tell me which bank had been paying the premiums so wanted such details..Amazingly they ARE that old but spares that still work very well when(rarely) needed.
Online search says the number belongs to Lycamobile customer services.

3/5/23 This phone number is highly risky. A man with a heavy accent who is barely audible through a crackling line purports to call 'about your computer'. When challenged that this is a scam - the caller became agitated and talked over me. I put the phone down. He called back and started shouting that I had nor right to call it a scam. I told him to get off the line or I would call the police. He said he didn't care about the police. I put the phone down. This Is a SCAM. A very distressing experience.
