This number states it is from O2 and they are having trouble getting payment. This is not true as I have checked with O2 . This is the second time it has happened when my bill is due

Called me on my mobile today telling me I may ber entitled to PPI. Quizzed the guy on the phone, wouldn t tell me who gave him my number and then told me I shouldn t have responded to a text message which I DID NOT!
Got a call. Tried to answer but call was terminated. nI called back but network message said that this was an incorrect number. nIn other words: scam!!

Someone claiming to be from "Tenancy Deposit Helpline" asking if we have a private tenancy deposit. Asked where they got our details from, they said from the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, I said surely they'd know if we had a private deposit if that was where they got out details. He hung up.

This caller Disguised number as local (01227) our area, no voice, suspect robo caller - a hang up call, we are a business I have to answer "local" numbers... incidentally I had a lady from "BT" call me yesterday and very calmly bullishly tell me they were upgrading our line to increase speed (I have nothing to with BT ever, not een a line, "Oh Great! Pre-recorded automated message (apparently from BT –NOT) plays when you answer the phone. Advises that you have been experiencing problems with your broadband service, and in order to correct the problem, you must press number 1 (one) on your phone keypad to speak to their “executive”. Call received on Tuesday 25 August 2020 at 13:05.

Premium rate caller - if you call back you have to pay them - a lying scam!
These guys will claim that they are trying to close your file if you have had a car accident but all they are doing is phishing for more personal details. Told them I was speaking to my solicitors about them which hopefully will prevent further calls. They do not really help their cause for if you ring the number back an automated message says that it was a marketing call and you will be contacted again later. Idiots.

Missed call I try to call back but "number is not recognised".
Cynical call, a day after receiving a SSE dividend, an unsolicited call from the USA about my share holding. An Indian sounding person, in a call centre, who had to asked on whose behalf he was calling. Then said it was some form of financial company. As if one would talk about your shares to an unknown person, acting for an off-shore company. Initially he was trying to make me believe he was connected to SSE.

if like me you you replied to one of their surveys about how the service was and you scored them 1 out of 10 only because in Bangladesh high street they managed to pick the phone up so go one thing right so when they do call back they are going to have to tell me why i should stay a loyal customer or maybe speak to another telephone/broadband supplier.

Only know the number because I was randomly charged ?99.99 !! Which is the first random I ve ever encountered while Internet /phone shopping I did receive a random info booklet on holidays a few months / lots of weeks before anyway this number was attached to the payment from my account the only thing I can suggest is to report the company to whomever and to contact your bank stating that a fraudulent company has your card details if you do recieve a catalog from them. Saying that there was no other warning

This number calls at least 3 times a day, i do not bother to answer it but its really quite annoying especially as i work from home!!
