third call today 9/2/16, finally spoke to someone who said they were from a company called DIRECT RECOVERY. when challenged about no of calls hung up instantly, very very annoying.

Rang and did not leave a voice message, when I returned the call I got a message to say number not recognised, now I realise it is some sort of scam?

Clearly cold callers/scammers, so do not answer!

0800 012 3123 is a scammer claiming to be from Aberdeen (the finance company?), asking for bank card details.

This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.

Has regularly called each day for some weeks but never leaves a voicemail. I never take 08 calls as I feel they re notorious for belonging to folks looking to do some sort of business or wanting to make money from me in some way - I shall be the one to choose who I engage and intend to pay for ANY service, and not the person who happens to come across my number somehow.
