This number rung mid afternoon. I was upstairs up a ladder painting and didn t answer. If it s PPI it s a scam - I never had it and my name couldn t possibly be on any list.

i got the smae issue I have been given the number when I attended the ASDA reddish interview.

Person said he was from Microsoft. After asking who he was he said he was just "representing" Microsoft. Wanted to confirm email address and mailing address. Blocked!

It isn t a real Whitehaven number, the don t begin with 0 after the area code

Very plausible good English speaker from Call Prevention Service claiming to be working with the official Telephone Preference Service. Gave a Bournemouth address and a contact name. Selling something to block calls at about ?1.95 a month. There is no such number. You can pay BT same amount for similar service. Suspect also data gathering. I have reported to TPS
