Indian/Pakistani sounding clearly calling from a call centre not in the U.K. as he had me on speaker phone and could hear him speaking with someone else as I answered the call. He asked for someone I don’t know. I told him I didn’t know the person and he got rude and aggressive with me before hanging up. I’ve blocked the number.

Recorded message inviting me to press button 1 as my BT broadband had been hacked. Rubbish! I didn't bother pressing button 1. Seems a coincidence that a similar number ending 519 leaves messages that the Amazon Prime account has expired.

They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. They called my landline at 8.49am (automated at first) pretending to be AMAZON to say I'm about to be charged £39.99 for my AMAZON PRIME subscription which i don't have and have never signed up for, but to cancel it i need to be on my device and they would talk me through it on-line. When i asked if is this was a SCAM she said 'What are you talking about' and put the phone down on me.
