Said he was calling from the ?Credit Investigation Department? asked me to verify the name he gave me. Then started coughing and spluttering and hung up! This number rang giving advice on accidents, i am assuming that my personal number was given through some sort of data-base as they rang home address too just tell them your not intrested and hang up thats it. If the company calls again just answer and say you have a company dealing with accident, if you choose to ignore it will ring ring ring and ring.

Apparently my national insurance has been compromised, didn't hang around long enough to find out how... the thing that puzzles me is how the callers have gotten hold of so many UK mobile telephone numbers which these scam phone calls come from... its only a few digits different from my own telephone number... discombobulating!!
