It was a computer generated message pertaining to be from Ofcom advising our Internet will be disconnected due to hacking like behaviour, we should contact BT to discuss. Neither our phone nor Internet is provided through BT!
silent phone call from the Muppet Factory. geolocations seems to show it is in the middle of a pedestrian walkway. most like the usual scumbag scammer trying to rip off the public. reported to Ofcom, not that they ever do anything to shut these scammers down.

Called from this number 08.31 today - caller claimed to be from my bank and that there had been suspicious payments on my bank card. This was followed by the usual requests that I press numbers to confirm or reject these payments, I did neither just hung up and checked my bank information.

Rang us at 11.15pm and again between 1 and 2am last night. registered with TPS but they can t stop it and BT can t help unless we pay for a blocker and different phones. Like other reviewer, I had the same call today from a lady with a very strong accent and could not understand a word she was saying apart from hearing 02. Told her I wasn't with 02, she said you are, (I think). Put the phone down and blocked it. Does make me laugh when these spammers try to tell you, you have a product when you don't, do they really think we are that stupid!!

Get CPR CallBlocker for less than ?40, it stops pretty well anything; overseas, unavailable, withheld, private & any displayed numbers too. With capacity for over 1000 numbers it s far better than registering with TPS or such useless companies.

Assumed this was cold calling from Manchester area, on one picked up when I answered.
SCAM / SPAM called saying there was a case against my name for tax fraud, claiming to be from HMRC.
Sounds like a modem, rings every day at different times, rings at least 5 to 6 times.
This number called me again today, they did Not even leave a message. When I called the number back, an automated voice said "you were called today by talktalk, sorry we missed you, no matter we will en-devour to call you back later, bye!"
