Arrived within email - “thedomainbureau.co.uk” Very suspect email.. looks like a domain renewal scam .. fake invoices for real domain renewals. I phoned the number - said they were a Utility discount company or words to the effect that they give quotes for cheaper utilities.. the woman answering did not recongnise “domain bureau” - which suggests what? Either folk at that business are running (multiple) scams, or denial is how they avoid people confronting them.. “plausible denialbilty”

This company is a huge nuisance and should be fined. They do not screen against the TPS and do not remove people from the marketing list when asked. ALWAYS report this number to the Information Commisioner s Office. It is very say to do that on the ICO website. Because if enough people do that, they company will get a massive fine and hopefully be put out of business.

28 Oct 2021 - Thick sub continent accent called himself Kevin and was asking about loans and credit cards. Claimed he was from a debt solutions agency. Kept him talking for about ten mins feeding him misinformation and asking him about his fav songs and told him I was gonna get concrete socks from a loan shark if he didn’t help me today. Called from this number 08.31 today - caller claimed to be from my bank and that there had been suspicious payments on my bank card. This was followed by the usual requests that I press numbers to confirm or reject these payments, I did neither just hung up and checked my bank information.
This number called me and said my card had been used twice, first for £500, than the second for £1000 with Amazon. Obviously a scam.
Threatened to cut off my internet and asked me to call back - as if I am going to phone the USA on a landline. Reported it and blocked number.
