Fraud, fake Halifax call, don't answer!
SCAM:Indian sounding man asked for me by name, had my address & post code. Asked where he had got this info., and that it was all total rubbish. He said that my washing machine warranty had run out. I told him he didn’t know what washing machine I have and I don’t have a warranty on it anyway. He then changed tack and tried flattery, saying that I had a lovely face. Recorded message about Amazon Prime renewal (which I don't have, nor have I ever had), so, presumably, some sort of scam call?
This number has called my mobile several times this week (office hours)but no messages have been left. I called the number back today and it just went through to call waiting music as if on hold so I hung up immediatly. Had over ?3 on my my pay as you go phone but after ringing this number my credit had gone down to ?1.11. DON T TRUST THIS NUMBER AND DEFINATELY DON T PHONE IT!!
