Automated call saying my annual subscription for Amazon Prime is up for renewal and £79.99 will be taken from my account in 7 days unless I cancel my subscription, it then asked me to confirm my bank account details to allow the subscription to go through. At this point I hung up. 1,The call was very crackly and jumpy and 2, I don't pay annually! Be aware and make sure your relatives are aware of the scam so they don't fall victim.

Seems to be some foreign call centre, mostly using robocalls or silent/cold calls. Block it, nuisance in most cases.

I received a call today from this number. They knew my name and told me they were ringing about my computer and that someone had tried to hack into it twice. I responded by saying no one tried to hack into my computer and how did you get this number and they hung up. This was clearly a scam but the scary part about it was that I could hear he was in a call centre.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls - surveys, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8439939xxx range... People don't fall for it. Did someone answer any number of this range?

it holds your works pension details that you paid into years ago and stopped paying into but is trying to get money from you to put all of them together,you dont need to . its another way of skimming money off you for them to send you papers through post for nothing. ITS A SCAM

Thanks all, checked this number in advance of calling and was redirected here, saved me money. Ridiculous that people are trying to make money off the back of people anxiously looking for work.
