Multiple calls from 0203 190 8712, 13, 15 & 16. Wonder what happened to 14! Typical scam call centre operation. First few times Asian sounding caller with a made up Anglicised name actually trying to flog something. More recently dropped calls, either before or after answering. They are the first operation I ve ever had spam from on my Mobile, and very odd for it to be a non-withheld UK number.

I received another call from this number today. The caller introduced himself as "Drew from the Energy Care Department of the Green Energy Company". He also said he was working on behalf of some governement initiative. When I asked him how he got the number, he was evasive at first but once he realised that I wasn t going to cave, he just hung up.

I was uncomfortable doing so over the phone so he provided lots more info about me but I then said I d prefer to at least discuss with my partner before signing up: cue the hard sell! I maintained I will discuss it and can can call back only for him to get exasperated and put the phone down on me. Quite rude!
