Handset showed a local number but was also saying 'International' call. Said they were from Amazon and were talking about an Iphone at which point I hung up as it has nothing to do with me. I then tried ringing the local number which displayed but the number was not recognised.

Received a phonecall from this number yesterday claiming they were Vodafone. I'm not a Vodafone customer. He asked me what my current tariff was and proceeded to aggressively hard sell me a Vodafone equivalent (which was no better than my current one!!) He was a truly horrible person with disgusting telephone manner. He got all huffy and sulky when I said I was not interested and said he didn't understand why I wasn't interested. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre.
