I have TPS on my mobile but this number got through today. She said she was Julia from (didn t get company name) and I had recently been involved in a car accident. I said no I hadn t and to stop spamming me! Annoyed it got through as I am registered with TPS. Seems these scammers are getting cleverer!

I asked for my name to be removed from their database as I was unlisted and also on the telephone preference scheme (TPS)I was told that was irrelevant because they were acting on behalf of the Government. If you use an insurance comparison site, they will pass your number on to The Claims Guys, who will pester you with calls about reclaiming PPI payments. Use this number on the comparison site to give them a taste of their own medicine, and prevent them from ringing you.

0800 012 3123 is a scammer claiming to be from Aberdeen (the finance company?), asking for bank card details.
