received a call today from 01255554810. Indian sounding man said just wanted my opinion, I told him I will not give any personal details, he kept asking me to confirm my name and I refused. I asked him to repeat his organisations name and he refused too. I refused to answer his questions and he said he would keep calling until I answered his questions. I hung up and called the number back - the line is dead.

Asian caller who said it was Adam from Open Reach and there was a problem with my internet and my connection would be lost in 4 hours. He said I needed to turn on a computer or laptop so he could sort the problem out. I told him my laptop needed charging up and he said he would call back in half an hour. He called back but we did not answer and he then tried every 2-3 minutes, ringing approx 15 to 20 times. Received a sketchy online banking text from this number claiming to be HSBC, i dont even bank with HSBC so this is pretty obviously a shitty attempt at a Scam
Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 12073279xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident claims, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?

9/10/17 Evening call from a man with a heavy eastern european accent and very difficult to understand. He knew my name and was very insistant that I answer his questions/survey., which would be to my advantage. I declined and hung up. I have blocked the number but this morning had a similar call from a different mobile 07535190837. This time he said he was from savers club. Probably a scam.
