This number called today at 07.36 and claimed to be from Microsoft. The person with an Asian accent told me my computer has been compromised and said have you herd of hackers. I asked for an email to confirm it was Microsoft but he reassured me it was and trust him he has details of my computer security number, we went round incircles a bit, then I put the phone down. 10secons later he called back asking why I put the phone down as I new he was genuine but called me from a different number02088884827.

SCAM / SPAM. Claims to be “Pensions Advice Trust”. No trace of such thing on internet. Wants to help and pass onto Financial Advisor to help recover Pension losses over last few weeks. Cold call. Some details known.
Called but didn t hang up - just said nothing at all on the answer machine, although there was a small amount of background noise.
Asked for Christopher Warden, he hasn t lived in the address in the 25 years we have been here. On behalf of BT apparently. Geordie accent.
