Think this is a scam. Caller was from London but stating he was the local Safety Officer and we are in the Midlands. Did ask for person by name who was not available. Said he would send an email. Not convinced this is genuine.

text message claiming you are eligible for a tax return and a link to where you can claim it. the link has 'gov' in it, but it is not the gov.uk site, it ends in .com. didn't click on it, but I assume they are next going to ask for card info then drain your account, so be weary. never, ever click links sent from random numbers claiming to be companies or the gov, they do not operate like this. for tax return you will get a physical envelope in your mail, never earlier than April when they actually close the

They provided an(under)valuation figure to offer to buy your car, I wasnt interested however I was later telephoned by the company to whome I Confirmed I was Not interested in selling to them. The company has since contacted me again three times, they have my contact number from the original add.
