Incessant calling - all these just change number if blocked and start over

Purports to be from BT ? Indian woman wanting to know about certain numbers ! SCAM !!! Lots of uk numbers seem to be hijacked or re routed through Indian call centres !!!

Indian lady started telling me I had a problem with Windows. I told her that she was unscrupulous and I considered that her actions were those of the scum of the planet. I blocked the number using my CPR Callblocker gadget (there are many alternatives). I pay for my phone, it s for me, what gives anyone other than me the right to use it to harass me? After doing an online insurance comparison on go compare, they call 2 or 3 time in quick succession until you answer. They are just following up your quotation, but if I do a comparison on line, it s because I don t want the hassle of talking to people like this on the phone. Ironically, they were the cheapest quote but it did put me off a little. I ve still got 2 days to decide and will probably go with them so they don t really need to be doing these "follow up" calls.
