Automated PPI call

This phone number calls me every day at the same time but no one speaks! It has been happening for 2 weeks so far!

Hung up as soon as I answered but then the same number called my mobile seconds later. Clearly working from some list which has both my landline and mobile number linked. I can t think of any such list except NHS!

I didn t answer, so I can t say what this is all about, but wouldn t you think common sense dictates that nobody will want to do any serious business over the tel...

Caller looking to sell dubious investments. Repeated calls despite being asked to stop several times, bordering on harrassment. Pushy, rude and evasive. I suspect company uses several trading names and telephone numbers. Please beware of this number !

I play them at their own game.....their on commotion so every second wasted hurts them, so I play along giving them false details then after about ten mins I start to ask sexually explicate questions about them, their girl/boy friends and there mums......they don t know how to react when you ask if they prefer to wax or shave the bikini line......then I tell them I have to go as their mums out of the shower and ready to go at it hard again .....they actually put YOU on the block list if you waist THEIR time

Multiple calls, never speak to anyone. My number appears to be doing the rounds and I ve recently had several unwanted calls from people with Welsh accents - not sure if this is the same crew. My view is, if they re not prepared to speak to me they re dealing with something I don t want.

An Asian gentleman said he was from talk talk and needed to check my router. Asked for access to my PC which I reluctantly gave as he was able to give me part of my address and my talk talk account number. Offered me a refund of ?200 but I needed to access my bank account. He had control of my PC so I did not want to do this. Hung up on him as he was too persistent for comfort!!!

They just called me on my mobile. I picked up but they hung up. I called back (14.39) and got a recorded msg (female, Scottish) saying their offices were now closed and advising...

The same experience as Rob, except that the caller (allegedly BT Open Reach) got further along the line before I realised it was a scam and rang off. However, in that time malware had been installed on my computer and was already beginning to use money in my PayPal account. I have finally rectified this, as well as with my bank.
