Oriental sounding woman called who had my full name, telling me that the UK pension rules had changed and that the call was from the Government to advise me on those changes. Asked about what kind of pensions I had. At that point I politely ended the call. seemed to be a fact finding call about me for nefarious reasons. If I want pension advice I can speak to a qualified advisor or look at a website. Sounded as if the call was scripted as she couldn t / wouldn t answer my questions.

Indian/Pakistani ? man called to say my BT service Lloyds Bank Direct Debit needed verifying, I played along and gave false numbers on my debit card (to see how far they wished to go), they already new my name , address, phone number. Well, actually I don't bank at Lloyds anyway!, they then asked for my DOB, so I gave a false one of course. This claims to be from Facebook but it was just a number and the location is Manchester/Burnley - this is not how FB normally sends 2 Factor ID. Is it a scam number?

This number called me very early in the morning, then hung up when I answered. Did a 1471, and when I dialled the number back, it cem up as unrecognised. Looked it up onlline, using this website and it came up as Moretonhampstead in Devon. Definitely suspicious.

Ambulance Chasers! Phoning about "accident in last 2.5 years". A Glasgow number though not necessarily based there, using 0141 to increase chance of people in surrounding area answering call (as I did). Caller was polite enough and accepted my lack of interest without question.

This number called several times, during last 2 weeks, on our fixed number in Belgium, but we weren't present. We looked up the number with the belgian nummer 1919.
