Received a call from someone wanting to talk about my Internet connection.

They purport to be a government agency refunding bank fees. My belief is that they are scammers.

always call either early morning or at evening meal time. when l say l am not interested they accuse me of NOT listening l hang up probably trying to sell you something

This caller was Volkswagen (UK) customer services to answer a letter personally I had sent to them .

Voicemail left from what appears to be a computer generated source stating that she was an old aged pensioner and accusing me of stealing her phone. Not very nice as this was left on my daughters phone and we have had the contract for over 2 years.

I ve received about 8 calls from this number in the last week. When I answer, I can hear what sounds like Call Centre noise, but no person talking to me. After a few seconds they hang up. Not worried or frightened, just a bit miffed that they won t have a conversation with me. My partner have a lot of personal stuff happening and these idiots just call several times a day and sometimes because it looks like a genuine number you automatically pick up. DON T do it. I m letting the answer machine do it s thing but I just wish these idiots would bugger off.

Answered phone, said "Hello" Nothing for 20 seconds, said "Hello" again. Nothing for 10 seconds, said "Some silly bast*rd winding me up". He spoke then, but I didn t hear as I was hanging up. I don t block them, I store the name under Spam and let them run their bill up.

Had 9 calls on Tuesday, I didn t answer as i d left my phone at home. Answered the 3rd call on Wednesday, Guy asking for Bank details to set up contract for phone. Told him I m not legally allowed a contract, He replied - give me your details and i ll check if I can help - I hung up! VERY DODGY!!!!!

Had a call this morning from a man claiming to work for a company called "First Pass", asking about an RTA I was supposed to have been involved in. I asked how he got my details and requested that they be deleted from their data-base. I have never been in an RTA, and am on TPS to prevent cold-callers. He persisted in trying to obtain more information from me and when I refused to answer, he hung up. If they call again, I shall report them to Ofcom.
