Claimed to be Visa ringing about fraudulent transactions on my account. First warning sign - Didn't know who I was. They should know whose account the transactions were on Second warning sign - As far as I'm aware Visa don't contact people direct, your card issuer will contact you. So it would have been Lloyds, Halifax, barclaycard, etc

SCAM Received a call apparently from O2 asking if my phone service was good. I said it was fine and hung up. Almost immediately after I received a warning from O2 by text: *SECURITY WARNING* The one-time code you requested will arrive shortly. If someone's calling you and asking for a code, please end the call because they DO NOT work for O2. If you suspect fraud, call us on 202 so we can protect your account. Soon after a code came from O2. This suggests the caller was trying to access my account.

They offer to arrange "free consultancy calls" on the basis of you being an active purchaser online. Blatant scammers who ignore the TPS. Block or use your referee s whistle.

Rang us at 11.15pm and again between 1 and 2am last night. registered with TPS but they can t stop it and BT can t help unless we pay for a blocker and different phones. Scam pretending to be virgin media from a noisy call center, played along with them, told md WiFi was being used by five other people for criminal offences ????, when I asked then to confirm my virgin media customer number, they asked me to run a command in Windows, the number they had did match mine on screen by the command was just one to show what programs will open a file when you double click, after that I challenged them and they hung up
