I doubt that very much, also pet peeve but called me by my first name which suggests they have more information than I would care to give.I had to stop his spiel to ask him to remove my information which he couldn t do so I ve hung up. Really bad accent,hard to understand and rude. Hate these calls.

Told him I m not legally allowed a contract, He replied - give me your details and i ll check if I can help - I hung up! VERY DODGY!!!!!

Just received a call from an Asian gentleman called Alex Carter claiming to be from BT and saying I have a problem with my IP/internet connection. Told him I am not with BT as they are useless but he insisted that all other providers use BT and it was up to them to sort out and stop all these other people using my internet I just need to start up my computer and allow their technician access to fix! called me several times reference accident compensation told them not interested keep calling wanting to mail me documents to sign and return.

at this point a misdial from a local number, in which case no harm done I don't use my landline except for internet connections and never answer it if it rings. If this number rings again I will block the number. If it was someone I knew they would have my mobile number and know to use it.
