Scam Claiming to be Microsoft

wanted me to have my toaster and video recorder machine checked to stop them bursting into flames. Had another call later and no one on the other end - felt uneasy and shut my curtains.

This number has just called the home phone and spoken to my partner. My partner had filled out some online surveys recently which was about gaining free samples etc. This was mentioned over the call and then offered him £20 worth of petrol or diesel vouchers, but would need his bank details over the phone to pay for postage. My partner was chatted to the person right up until this point... then stated with all due respect, as much as I would love the vouchers, I never have or will give my bank details out

I ve been getting several calls a day not just from this number, but from others, too - or sometimes they come up as "unavailable" or "international". All of them are from people with an Indian accent saying that they are calling to fix a problem with my PC and quickly become very rude when questioned. I have an answerphone, so have now stopped picking up. This is obviously some kind of scam

This number called me again, of course when I was busy. The familiar recorded voice said they had tried to contact me before on a number of occasions about compensation. Yes they had. claims to be from bt but when told this is part of a large company I was told I was lying and it was a domestic number it said so on their computer...still calls up to 5 times a day even though they have been told to cease

hannah called my mobile, told me she had been told I had been in an accident that wasn t my fault. I asked her where she had got my number from, she said the road traffic accident department (!!). I then confused her tremendously by repeating my question and call ended. I m on TPS. Suspect it s an automated number generator and as others have said, that Hannah is a machine not a person...

Said company name was KBT and matter was a confidential business matter - sounded like a call centre - would only give name as 'June' and phone number
