This number called my elderly mums number, I answered, they said it was something to do with Windows then mentioned computer, I told them not to ring this number again that there was no computer at the property and to remove our number from their database, I was rudely informed that if they were to do that we would be charged, and they could ring as many times as they wished.

This is a very complex scam. They use Voice recognition software and series of recorded English female responses. NEVER GIVE ANY DETAILS RE YOUR NAME< ADDRESS OR ANYTHING. THIS IS FIRST RATE FISHING. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. This company seems to be a telemarketer for ppi claims. They are using a list containing contact details without direct consent from the recipient. I self registered my details as a saleable commodity With a prohibitive high cost for non authorised use for commercial gain. I have now invoiced them for this amount. Lets see what they do now!

Michael James called claiming to be with Microsoft saying my computer was being used by hackers. Wanted to take control of it to fix it. Microsoft said it was a scam. Beware.
