I have been searching for van insurance quotes on line and they are chasing these up but still wanted to speak to husband after explaining that I was the one looking but because he was owner of vehicle was searched in his name - SO ANNOYING

When I answer, it rings another number so I cut it off before that one was answered. I can only imagine this works as a reverse charge call because effectively you end up calling them. I have been called once a day for the past week by this number. Guess it is an advertising call centre or something. But will probably never find out because I cut them off.

Claimed to be from BT Connect and wanted to "save us money". Wanted to know who we were with for telecomms, told them TalkTalk as they were much friendlier & responsive than BT (true). "Amy" was VERY insistent that she "come round and talk to us about saving money on our telecomms". Obviously we firmly refused, said goodby and put the phone down with her saying "but..but". Pest!

Have had four calls from this number now. First time I actually answered most of the questions. Asian sounding man wanted to know my first name which I declined to give him and hung up. Not 30 seconds later I got another call from him, so I put the answerphone on. As soon as the answerphone kicked in he hung up and called back straight away. I received an automated message from this number telling me my national insurance number would be cancelled as criminal activity had been spotted regarding my national insurance number. I was urged to press 1 on my phone to speak to an officer immediately.
They hanged up straight after I answered. I suspect it is from the same time wasters I had earlier today, a debt helper or whatever they call it company. Obvious scam as usual

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access.
