It s Vanquis Credit Card. I live in St Helens so they think that because they use a St Helens Prefix I will pick it up. They ve been hounding me for weeks for ?70. They ve probably wasted more than that in man hours over that period trying to call me.

This number has called me over 100 times asking for a person by another name. They are rude to me saying that I do not know what I am talking about, they out the phone down when I say I will report them. They have phoned every day and still do - we do not answer the phone now until we know who is calling. This is a breach of our human rights. It s about time the government did something about it. Looks like a scam. Recorded message said I d missed a call from my internet provider concerning illegal activity. I had not been on line for over 48 hours.

Had a silent call to my ex-directory number today. Caller listened to what must have been a full minute to me saying "Hello, hello - Is there anyone there?" etc, before hanging up.

This is a Vodafone call centre that attempts to get you to change your mind after you have cancelled your contract.
