Mercedes Insurance - following up on a quote I d had.

A woman rang saying she was from St Helens; some recycleing company. Said she could get a grant for windows, doors conservatories or boilers. Said she would ring back later. Immediatley the phone went down a man rang. Think this is some kind of hard sell/ scam type of call.

Call from this number at 12.31 today (5/10) asking for me by my full name and caller claimed to be Michael from; - ?something or other (couldn t make out what he was saying) Investigations addressing me by my full name and wanted my future pension plan details. I politely declined after explaining I was in fact with the Government and had no need for further pension advice . He then accused me of lying to him! Automated phishing call saying my credit card paid £600 to a foreign country. Instructed to press 1 to allow or stop the payment. Needless to say I did a 1471 before the second call could be made from a unlisted number; people will fall for this one
