called alot so i answered a few times without speaking and they hung up immediately. Then i answered and went along with "the nice man from Microsoft" who wanted to "fix" my computer. When i got to a step that would do something to my computer i told him i thought he was a fake and a terrible person for sucking people in and he got really angry and went off! These people are scum for hoaxing people who don t know computers, particularly elderly folk.

An accident claims company that do not stop calling. They try all sorts of things to get you to stay on the phone. They are very rude.

They often call and then ring off as I answer. When they do talk to me it concerns a car accident that I have not been involved in!

Automated call. Says that your internet ip has been used for criminal purposes , asks you to hold the line to speak to a human , I just hung up, received the call on 29/7/19

A real number for once - "UK consumer survey" or something. Aggressive - my name obviously linked to number on their computers. Tried to sell Life insurance! Added to personal blacklist on 1572. I called back to verify that they are a real number.

SCAM/SPAM. I was called on the 26/08/20 by this number. The caller said they were from SKY (my TV, telephone and broadband provider). He informed me that he was ringing to test my modem and improve its performance. He asked me to type a few commands which included the word “SKY”. He then asked me to permit remote access. The criminals started early today, making this call om an invented number at just after 8 a.m. Nobody spoke but they did not have to. Responding to these calls - which of late have consisted of recorded messages saying ny broadband is going to be disconnected - would be dangerous.
