Said it was the tax office. And if I don't dial 1 to speak to someone a warrant for fraud will be issued by the police. I work in a govt department in a large company, I get paid and pay taxes and all my bills. So the s must be fraud. And who calls for this on a Saturday. Really.

I am the first to comment but I notice I m the 176th person who has tried to find out of this is a dodgy scam/marketing call. I would say the chances are quite high that it is. Let your telephone do the work. If there is no voicemail left then there is no urgency to speak with them!

I was informed by a sythetic female voice that a large amount of money had been taken out of my bank account and that I should contact them by telephone if I had not performed this withdrawal myself. Obvious callback SCAM. This is the third of it's kind that I have received recently but the others came via mobile phone numbers.
