Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 3334439xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident claims, insurance management, PPI and pensions - just another call centre. Jus

Indian women called saying she was from BT Technical Dept and that my internet would be disconnected in two days time. I said that having previously received these calls I had checked with BT and they do not have a technical department so could she give me more details in order for me to identify who she worked for and she then promptly hung up.

This number is phoning on a daily basis since 12th April. When answered, they cut the call immediately. Am ex directory and registered with TPS. Am getting to the point where I will be getting the police involved to try and stop these calls.

No response when I answered, but having looked up the number, appears to be a car accident phishing operation that started on Feb 17th.
