Anyone else had a call from this Rochdale number about PPI?
Fraud/Scam Supposedly HMRC have issued a warrant for my arrest and for me to press 1 on the keypad to speak to someone. Robotic voice just reading some low life's script and then once complete it waits for you to do something and if you do nothing i.e. press 1, it hangs up.
answered call and sounded like a busy office in background but then call was ended by the caller, they did not speak and line is constantly busy when you try to call back the number
Their salesman told me lies about getting Government Funding for my windows, and then duped me into giving him my number and subsequently taking an Appointment Card so he could get his commission. When I found this out, I blocked their number. Utterly disgusting.

Spam call, claiming to be from BT and saying hackers have got into your computer but BT will help you to sort it out. Keep ringing me - saying there was unclaimed compensation money from an accident that happened within the last 3 years. Very convincing - I kept asking if this was a sales call and would I suddenly be asked to pay some charges upfront - asked a lot of questions - I remained vague (I hope). Said I would be hearing from a solicitor called John Cunningham Associates. After I had finished the call I felt very vulnerable in case I had told him something that he could use for other purposes

SCAM / SPAM Scam claiming bt internet technician. First he states his name is justin. Then he states jim. He had a foreign - Indian or Pakistani accent. Tells you to download team viewer app from play store/ Apple store and then asks you for the id number. They will try to block your device and charge you to unlock it. When I stated I use virgin he saud by can fix the virgin technical problems too. If I had a problem I would ring my provider which was none of the ones I have mentioned here.

This number and the following number; 07404235048 keeps phoning me (so far 5 times today) and a recorded message says that they are from BT and we have had a security breach with our phone line and broadband and that they are going to turn us off and trying to get us to press a button to respond to them. We are not even with BT!!! DON'T trust these phone numbers.
