this person called used the name of the person who answered ( my dad ) and when he questioned who he was the caller slammed the phone down.. re trace gave the number of 01271 42169 but when we rang it back it says it doesnt exist. Please can someone check on this person and stop this happening again

They asked for staff member by name but he doesn t deal with our energy supplies. They re just time wasting chancers, don t get caught.

Don t answer!! Don t give any details!!! These people called my elderly mother saying that there was a claim for her vehicle insurance - absolute rubbish. Also the insurance is under my father s name so they basically got her mobile number from a database. Luckily I was here and took over the phone call where it became immediately clear that they were fraudsters. Being based in Haywards Heath and with an English telephone agent you d be forgiven for initially thinking that they were legit.

Slightly Indian sounding Woman called "Len" claiming to be from BT and asking for an email address to send information to. When I ask for her email address so I could allow it through our spam filters, she repeated she wanted my email address. I repeated I wanted her email address... she hung up. Time-wasting idiots, We don t even have any BT lines.

They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. Tried to empty my partners bank account but bank blocked the transfer. Reported for fraud. the pretend they are a loan company & ask for money upfront.

Same message as Bett. Not an EE customer so knew it was fake. Reported to EE.
