Just got a call from this number .. I didn't answer .. but out of curiosity I call the number back .. because my motor insurance company is in Manchester .. but when the call was answered I was not given the company name I was just told I would be put through to the next available agent .. who came on and asked if they could speak to me .. I did not reply .. and he said goodbye using my name .. this was an automated voice so they have your name and number saved .. therefore the number has now been blocked

I have been receiving calls from this number for a couple of months now. They have my full name and address. They used to ask whether I have sky but now they started asking the make of my tv. I refuse to give them any information and hung up but they keep calling back.

Fraud - when answered was a recorded message supposedly about my National Insurance number being blocked due to fraud. Didn't listen to anymore and hung up.

Asian-sounding male, calling himself Mr. W., asking to speak to my brother. Asked if washing machine was alright. We recently had dishwasher repaired, so I thought call was genuine (insurers). Then asked if I was over 35. I said that was irrelevant. He persisted with question, becoming aggressive in tone. I persisted with my answer. When he asked for my postcode and name I hung up.

Called seemingly to confirm delivery details and then discussed the extended warranty as though it was free and asked me to confirm bank details. I was uncomfortable doing so over the phone so he provided lots more info about me but I then said I d prefer to at least discuss with my partner before signing up: cue the hard sell! I maintained I will discuss it and can can call back only for him to get exasperated and put the phone down on me. Quite rude!
This is some landline from London area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but as written previously for similar numbers, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. All the numbers are of the same range 020347621xx - some of them were already reported as being used by call centre calling for non-profit (NSPCC - check them at http://www.nspcc.org.uk/), Marie Curie, charities, fund raising... Nuisance for me -
