A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Had a call from this number about 20 minutes ago saying HMRC has a case against me and to press 1 to speak to my case officer. Pressed 1 and the line was noisy so said hello but no response.
