Called me at 23:30 !! I thought it was bad news about my elderly father!! But it was some bright idiot saying he was IT Support and his records showed I was available until 01:00 ... total rubbish. Ignore this idiot

This number called this morning and the recorded message must have started before the answerphone greeting had finished with the result that I only got a very small part of the message left. Rang my mother . Knew all her details. Pretended to be British Gas and said if she paid 199.99 now she would save money. They even knew her BG home service plan was up for renewal soon. He was so polite and convincing, she gave her bank card details. Luckily Nationwide have done a visa dispute and refunded her. We have phoned trading standards, British gas . Written a cancellation letter to so called company. This needs to go to Watchdog.
