SCAM - Just had a call saying they were contacting me about upgrading my phone, so I wasn't best pleased about being disturbed when I'm not feeling well with a very heavy cold. I knew it was a scam straight away as there was no link to my existing provider, so I informed the caller of that and told him to "Bu**er off"! Suggest others do the same.
This number just called me, when I picked up the call but said nothing, it hung up after 2-3 seconds. Scam/malicious.

Said they are from carphone warehouse but could be any fraudster trying to gain personal information. Hung up when I refused give personal details and repeatedly said that they shouldn’t be calling TPS registered numbers.

Called to say I had orderd a new sim card, told him I hadn t, he said he was from O2, and that they could save me money, told him that I had the best tariff, He had an irish accent, and then OK and hung up. Dont think this is o2.
The calls are not from Manchester; the scammers cam spoof any number they like.
Its ao call centre, they try to sell you their insurance as others have said it, if you are not interested be polite and say bye otherwise they will keep try to chat.

Dropped what I was doing & raced downstairs to answer persistent call. Man with an unidentifiable accent garbled something against a cacophony of background noise sounding like the Call Centre from Hell. I asked him to repeat his sentence. SCAM Called today around 1.15 pm, supposedly about our Sky Internet connection. I asked for his name (Sam) and where he was located (he carried on asking about our broadband connection). I asked him where he was located again to which he replied, "Oh f**k you!" and he put the phone down.

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else.
