This appears to be a scam to obtain credit card details for illegal purposes. We called the number and was immediately asked for our credit card number, but NOT WHICH CREDIT CARD NUMBER, which raises concern over legitimacy, as we have several cards, so which one would we use?

Also 0844 3585862. It s an automated messing service. We had a message from the local dentist saying we had an upcoming appointment. In our case it was genuine. We ve had such messages before. However, the company sending the messages doesn t seem to be choosy about who else pays them. Call wasn t wanted or needed. Similar comment put on that number as well.

I received a call from this number yesterday. About pharmacy. It is an indian call centre who calls and they are searching new customers. I don t know if it is a scam.

I know many people who will no longer answer their landline unless they recognise the callers number. It is businesses like IJT, boiler-room scams and PPI Claim companies who have changed the telephone from a useful tool and friend into a nuisance ridden pain in the arse. Well done everyone!

Very pushy but convincing girl at the end of the phone - said they were calling because I had entered a competition to win a trip to New York and so was eligible for ten free lines on Euro Millions. Sounded vaguely legitimate until she started asking me for personal details - date of birth, etc... "to confirm I was over 18". Two to three calls a day on my mobile for a week so far but they never leave a voice mail. I called back from another number and just got a looped recording saying "Integrity, Quality & Growth; these are our core values" with no mention of who they are so clearly not a legitimate or honest company. After the first call added them as a contact with a silent ring so they can keep on as long as they like and I won t be bothered.

This number just phoned me again but when I answered, no one said anything and then finally the line went dead.
