Unsolicited call, unknown company, asking me about my "Forex trading" knowledge/history, as they seem to think I m involved in that. Er, I m not. TPS. Unsolicited finance advice? Goodbye.

Said they were doing a survey for the local council Very convincing almost fell for it but I dont do surveys just for this reason he hung up smartish

This is the third call l have received today by tosspots who, when l pick up the receiver hang up without answering, l am really getting annoyed at these wa**ers on the other end and would gladly love to get my hands on these scumbags, preferably around their frigging necks

Call received from 01215675443, automated voice stated that there was a strange transaction on my Amazon account and that a stop had been put on the transaction and to speak to ...

I was called on my mobile by someone trying to tell me that my sister (I have power of attorney) owed 53.23 to BT but if I paid the full amount by card, then she would have her line restricted and avoid further charges of 18.00 for re-connection. They were really pushy that I make a payment but I thought something was off and wouldn t give any details at all!

A woman rang saying she was from St Helens; some recycleing company. Said she could get a grant for windows, doors conservatories or boilers. Said she would ring back later. Immediatley the phone went down a man rang. Think this is some kind of hard sell/ scam type of call.

Very pushy but convincing girl at the end of the phone - said they were calling because I had entered a competition to win a trip to New York and so was eligible for ten free lines on Euro Millions. Sounded vaguely legitimate until she started asking me for personal details - date of birth, etc... "to confirm I was over 18". Told her I wasn t prepared to give any personal information over the phone to a call centre and she hung up. More convincing than the usual scammers - but still dodgy as. Block this num

This number has called me six times in the last two days but doesn’t get past my Call Guardian. No message is left so I can only assume it’s from an automated system and whoever...

Bank of Ireland. Post Office Credit card calling in answer to an enquiry I made 2 weeks earlier about access to my online account.

Two to three calls a day on my mobile for a week so far but they never leave a voice mail. I called back from another number and just got a looped recording saying "Integrity, Quality & Growth; these are our core values" with no mention of who they are so clearly not a legitimate or honest company. After the first call added them as a contact with a silent ring so they can keep on as long as they like and I won t be bothered.
