I was called from this number approx. 5,00pm this evening, and answered to a recorded female message advising me that my Amazon Prime account had expired, and that a charge of £95 would be made to automatically renew it. As I do not have a Prime account, I did not listen any further to the message, which I suspect was going to advise me to press a digit on my phone, to speak to an adviser, from where details of my Bank Account would be required!! I hung up halfway through the message.

Called and asked about a car accident I d supposedly had - as soon as I asked how they knew I was in an accident, they claimed my details were included on a National register of car accidents . Asked me to give six number code sent to me in SMS from Amazon - This was my two step verification code to change my password. All they need to get this sent to you is your Amazon account linked phone number. I did of course refuse.
