Called saying there has been fraud on my NI card and to stay on the line to talk to an insurance agent
SCAM / SPAM I got a call from this number saying it was from BT and that my internet connection would be cut off within 24 hours because my account had been hacked. The recorded message then said to talk to someone press 1, press 2 for others.

They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. SCAM / SPAM Called to say my Sky service renewal was out of date. When I told him I don't have cover, he tried to argue that I pay for it by direct debit. Once he realised he wasn't getting anywhere, he decided to hurl flurry of obscenities and abuse at me. I tried to keep him on the phone as long as I could to waste his time but eventually he hung up.

This number is a scammer...the code is for Leicester ..I rang the number back and the ring tone is not a U.K. tone. ..my call rang until it dropped, no one answered. Obviously a company from overseas fronting their call with a false U.K. phone number..Beware..!

SCAM CALLER SOUNDED LIKE FROM A CALL CENTRE, AND SAID THEY WERE FROM AMAZON ABOUT MY PRIME SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL. I ASKED QUESTIONS AND THE CALLER WAS SO RUDE AND CALLED ME A DUMMY AND PROMPTLY HUNG UP!! THEY WANTED £79.

I ve received 17 calls in 48 hours, sometimes within minutes of each other! I ve threatened to use another provider which has triggered these calls, but even so, that s ridiculous and they never leave a message. I ve emailed them to tell them I will only converse with them via email as I m sick of being insulted by their foreign call centre workers! Pain in the ****, looks like some other lucky ISP is about to get my business!!!
NEVER call unknown numbers back. If you do so, you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a very large charge on your bill.
