She was contacting me as they had our name on there contact list to purchase a new house. (Only becuase we handed over our contact details in the past.)

To cancel, all they need to do is ‘press 1’ - but after they do that they're directed to a fraudster posing as an Amazon customer service representative. Fraud Received a call allegedly from Barclaycard and they knew my full name. I denied that I was that person, said they've got the wrong person and hung up. I proceeded to call Barclaycard and they confirmed that they didn't call me, said that this is not one of their number and confirmed it was a fraudster that was trying to get me. Barclaycard advised that they will usually send a message or e-mail and very rarely call unless you have not made a payment. Blocked and will be reporting it.

This number calls our fax machine daily.They re a nuisance because we have to check who s tried to call every time in case it s a customer trying to send a fax. They don t seem to learn from the fact that a fax machine answers every single time they call!

IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM! A computer is dialling numbers in sequence to sniff out voice lines. If you speak then the line is detected as 'an active voice line' and logged as such, a scammer will then be calling you later! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear a voice and then the line goes dead then congratulations - you have just successfully escaped being scammed! THESE CALLS ARE HARASSING AND ALWAYS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!

Don t know how they got my cell number. I don t know anyone/company in Birmingham. Just another scam merchant. I blocked their call and didn t give them the chance to say anything.
Called for days without speaking until today pretending to be from "Merchant Review". Asking to speak to "whoever is in charge of the merchant account" when told we don't have a credit card machine they hanged up. Very fishy.
